As part of Huntstown Community Centre involvement in the Creative Ireland Programme 2017-2022 we are embarking on a Project  entitled Creative Huntstown.  We see this project as a collaboration of all those residing in Huntstown, working in Huntstown or socialising in the area. 

To strengthen our sense of identity and belonging with Huntstown Dublin.

A Collective Creative Project – to instill Pride of Place, Societal wellbeing.

We intend covering the following aspects: What are the essential ingredients of Community, how the appearance of Huntstown contributes to a sence of place, how people feel about changes to their community and how others in the community feel about this place where they live, this will be portrayed through the means of Art using different mediums such as Canvas, Wood, Ceramics, Photography, Spoken Word ,Glass and Clay.

To this end we shall be holding Art workshops with Funding from :-

Fingal Co Council and Creative Ireland Programme 2017-2022

Huntstown Community Centre will be holding Adult and Child Art Workshops here commencing 6th November, Children’s workshop will be at 2.40pm for 2 hours on a Monday and Adults workshop will be also on a Monday for two hours commencing at 7.30pm, duration will be four weeks.

 All materials will be supplied and there will be no charge.  Names are now being taken at Reception.  Please register by 31 Oct, if oversubscribed names will be selected at random.

All the work produced will be displayed at a Get to Know your Neighbour Party to be held on 7th December here in Huntstown Community Centre.

Our Café Menu is also available as a Large Print Menu.
We have a Dinner Special – Wednesday priced at €3 – Also available as a take-away option.

 Our café provides affordable lunches, snacks, breakfasts including a School Special for €2.
Books are available freely from our Book Shelf. We have a Book Club plus two Art Groups meeting in the Centre.
We have a designated car parking space for those displaying a Disabled Parking Badge. We have a bicycle rack.
We actively encourage older people to Volunteer at Events, to participate and mix with others in the local Community.
We provide our Hall free of charge to host a exercise class for those aged 55+ in order to keep the class fee low at €4 this class is held on a Wednesday afternoon at 3.30pm All are welcome - Siel Bleu specializes in programmes in the area of Appropriate Physical Activity (APA) – a tool of preventative care, in order to support, maintain and improve individuals’ health.

We have a Class specifically for those who have COPD Tuesdays 12 noon until 1pm
We support Merchants Quay by having a clothes Bank in the Car Park,
Battery Recycling (Domestic)

Exercise Class for those aged 50 +

Wednesday afternoon 3.30 - 4.30   Cost €4

This class is designed for those who may not enjoy or be able to participate in a 'regular' exercise class

Exercise can be adapted to suit all ages and abilities

Our Annual Art Exhibition was held on 9th,10th & 11th March 2016 with the theme of 1916 Bernie@huntstowncc.org or 8220847.

presented to those who aim to be Age Friendly .

Huntstown Community Centre was   awarded €1000 from Fingal Co Co for our  1916 Commemorative Events

We are proud to announce that Huntstown Community Centre has been awarded by Fingal Co CO Cleaner Communities the award of Best Presented Community Centre for 2015

This is a county wide competition aiming to make our country a cleaner, greener place to live.  The Awards reward community groups, residents, businesses for their efforts  maintaining a litter free and well presented community  or place of business.

Huntstown Community Centre has a wide range of activities,  Groups and Classes available this Includes  a Book Club, Yoga, Dancing, Art, Irish conversational group, Ballet, Warhammer,  Exercie Class, Russian Class, & Youth Groups.   Please feel free to call in and enquire.


Our coffee shop is a great place to meet for a cuppa and a chat,

Parties, Debs and family occasions can be catered for.  Call in for a quote.
